An unconventional career pathway has lead to the development of unconventional process, thinking and implementation of solutions to the opportunities and challenges. The coupling of experiences and learning as a professional athlete, an Aboriginal man, an education specialist and health worker and performance facilitator for individuals and teams has been the catalysts for the creation of Shared Path Corporation, a place where solutions and outcomes are not only possible but realised.Over 15 years of experience in the not for profit sector focussed around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. I have been working in a range of roles for Indigenous organisations around education pathways, opportunities, mentoring, healthy lifestyles for individuals, families and communities, business, culture and innovation.Through this work I have worked at all levels in the sector from a volunteer, facilitator, manager, executive, CEO board member and coach to the new generation. I have been a part of teams that have not only implemented workshops and programs but led teams of 50+ volunteers in mentoring programs coordinating Universities, schools and community groups. Shared Path as created an an Indigenous business incubator and employment pathway, implanted national programs Connected Beginnings and Start Them Early in partnership with the Commonwealth Department of Education and Training. The creation of Blak Tek Project has been a burning passion supporting the up skilling on community in the digital space to access the business, employment and self determination opportunities now and into the future.
