Lead front-end developer/architect on Artella product used by Animation Mentor, Riot Games, and other clients. Responsible for development of the Angular application, including all services, stores, routes and components. I manage a monorepo with 2 application frontends (campus and studio flavours) and a shared component library. I managed the framework switch from AngularJS (v1) to Angular v7, including switch to TypeScript and adoption of reactive programming techniques (rxjs).I developed the review tool that allows artists to annotate on video frames (and still images) by sketching and interacting with the video, including advanced features: pen pressure, audio scrubbing and ghosting (onion skinning).I developed the file management tools which combine views of locally cached files (Artella Drive) with remote project files. The latest HTML APIs in file/directory access are used to allow directory uploads and provide an intuitive customer experience. Conventional file UI actions are supported, including tree views, breadcrumbs, resizable panes, detail/grid views and context menus. File transfers are tracked and rendered in realtime, including throttling to handle cases of uploading 1000s of small files in starter game projects so at all time the UI remains performant.
