I completed a seven week operations internship at Chick-Fil-A at University and Mill under operator Brandon Barrett. I delved into a behind-the-scenes look of what it takes to operate a Chick-Fil-A in areas such as finance, marketing, and HR. At the end of the seven weeks, I gave a presentation to the operator about what I had learned as well as on what I thought the restaurant could improve upon.

The Fund meets weekly to discuss prevalent economic issues and pitch equities. Currently, we manage roughly $78,000 of the college's endowment fund. Personally, I manage the real estate sector of our portfolio with three other analysts.

A team of three other individuals and I were challenged to grow the volume of clients of Allstate agents within the midwestern regions. We used extensive Excel work to calculate growth needed for each agent and proceeded to create incentive programs. Overall, we placed in the top half of competitors. This experience taught me how crucial Excel can be when leveraged appropriately.

I trained 30 upperclassmen, Passage leaders who mentored incoming freshmen at HoneyRock, which is the outdoor leadership development center for Wheaton College. The goal of Passage is to prepare students for the transition between high school (being dependent) and college (being independent). My co-leader and I facilitated teamwork and leadership qualities through team initiatives and discussion.
