I am a Training & Development Professional and Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) with over 15 years’ experience of training consultancy and delivery of a wide range of classroom based events. I have over 10 years’ experience delivering training in the full range of Oracle modules used in the Scottish Government but more particularly in relation to reporting and Financial Statement Generated report creation.My team are responsible for the delivery of Oracle & Pecos system training and the development of eLearning products that support that delivery. I am also responsible for the wider Finance Learning needs of the Scottish Government and I am the Contract Manager of the framework contract for the provision of external finance learning, currently held by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).Outside work I am an active member of the CIPD South East Scotland Branch and the Team Leader for the Learning & Development Special Interest Group, organising and delivering sessions to assist with the Continual Professional Development (CPD) needs of members and guests, by providing a networking forum for Learning & Development professionals to learn from each other through sharing knowledge, skills and best practice.
