My global portfolio of work over past 10+ years spans China, Japan, India, U.K., EMEA, Nigeria, Central/South America, Canada, and the United States in five areas: 1) Business Development for global retail businesses including direct engagements with Coca-Cola (Costa Coffee), Dave & Busters, and Anheuser-Busch2) Private equity work in the restaurant space for Abraaj, Actis, CVC Capital Partners, Trispan LLP, and Oaktree Capital. 3) Independent Board Director positions with Agro America (Guatemala), Korok (Quebec, Canada), Nuli Juice (Nigeria), Rosa Mexicano (NYC), and Quiznos (until sale exit in 2018)4) Passive and active investments in restaurant brands in China, Nigeria, U.K. and the United States.5) Structured financing through Enceladus Development Corporation for Hospitality Businesses From 2007-2010, I was the U.S. President of the YUM! Brand division for A&W Restaurants and Long John Silver's accountable for the $1B system sales and during this tenure significantly improved the profit and operating metrics. From 2001-2007, I was the Managing Director for YUM! Brands Latin America businesses including KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell where profits were doubled and the system grew to 1,000 units. Spent 5 years living and working in Asia from 1996-2001 and managed Pan Asia functions for YUM! Brands throughout the financial crisis in the areas of Finance, Business Development and Supply Chain Management. From 1992-1996 led multiple functions for YUM! Brands's predecessor (PepsiCo Restaurants International) in Toronto, Canada including leadership positions as CFO and VP Business Development.Senior Consultant at the Canada Consulting Group (now BCG) from 1989-1992.Began my career in Marketing for Ralston Purina Canada (1985-1989).
