Experienced in most all aspects of FPGA and ASIC design process from - architecture and planning, to RTL, to verification, to synthesis, floorplanning, place and route, static timing analysis.Product areas in which I've used my ASIC/FPGA skills include: Defense/Aerospace, storage, telecom, digital video, microprocessors, and various IP Cores.I moved to Austin from Boulder, CO in 2005 to start Pinpoint Solutions' Austin Design Center.After 5 years of adventure in EDA and at digital audio startup Equiphon I joined Altera which was later acquired at Intel. My role at Altera and Intel has been physical design focused.Specialties: Specialties include dynamic logic design, ARM cpu integration, NTSC encoders/decoder development, Matlab modeling, perl/TCL scripting, low power design methodologies, place and route, and timing closure.RTL2GDS experience with Cadence and Synopsys tools.Xilinx and Altera FPGA experience for ASIC prototyping.
