During my time in Alltech, I provided assistance in an ongoing project on the intestinal health of broiler chickens. The aim was to determine the digestive enzyme capacity of broiler chickens. My main duties in the project were:• Preparing tissue samples for analysis• Determining protein concentrations by performing Bradford Assays.• Carrying out enzyme assays – alkaline phosphatase, maltase and sucrase.Statistical analysis was performed on the data collected.
