About Bence Prokop
All of my adult life I have been fascinated with cinematography and storytelling.My story started at UBB where I finished my BA in Film, Photography and Media, and continued my MA in Documentary Film Production. Besides the sweet embrace of the University, I also attended countless filmmaking-related workshops (such as Aristoteles Workshop, or FILMTETT) and finished a 8-month Focus Puller course at Lumiere Film School in Budapest.As I tried myself out in different job positions such as 1st and 2nd AC as well as Digital Imaging technician at companies such as Netflix or RTL Club Hungary I saw a massive need in premium quality filmmaking bags and accessories.So I took matters into my own hands: I gathered a few talented people around me and FOCUS RAT was founded in 2020! Since then I strive every day to help my fellow cinematographers, camera assistants, filmmakers, and content creators from all walks of life with the best possible products, tutorials, and everything in between to have a confident day on any film set!
