PhD student in quantum computation. On the theoretical side but working close with experimentalists to get practical results. I am work in a group now that’s researching both quantum algorithms and also methods for the quantum compiler that make the algorithms actually run on the hardware. I always loved the beauty of understanding a complicated problem... to break it down, to tackle it from all sides if needed, to learn everything about it until it finally gives in. Now this combined with maths and physics just makes it into an addiction.
