My core duties include preparation of the classroom, facilitation of the curriculum and evaluation of the training process. Required role-based training content using a variety of software programs, tools and applications. Employing my knowledge of basic concepts of adult education and organizational change management to facilitate the adoption of Connect Care. I use my experience training and educating adults to relay information in a manner reflective of my audience’s abilities. To ensure competency of the trainees, I administered proficiency assessments at the time of training as well as post-live refresher, optimization and skills enhancement training. As a Credentialed Trainer, I underwent a thorough credentialing process, including taking Educating the Epic End User course, to get qualified as a trainer within Connect Care.Accomplishments include:• Helped update a classroom training document with video for the Collection lesson. This video powerpoint is now being used across the team to teach students how to use a device called Rover.• Updated departments in the Connect Care document called Login Departments Quick Start Guide. Performing a variety of routine laboratory tests involving numerous steps and techniques associated with processing specimens for the complete isolation, identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing of significant bacteriological organisms. And relatively recently, I took the initiative to lead the company’s stretch break, and am now a “stretch leader”. Moreover, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students and pass on my wealth of knowledge.Accomplishments: • Took initiative by volunteering to lead the company’s Stretch Break• Ran a successful Movember campaign in 2012. Raised $960 with personal donors and from DynaLife DX• Made numerous suggestions to increase efficiency, streamline workflow, and improve the workplace• Volunteered to be on the Microbiology Automation Committee• Trained and guided many students in Microbiology Show less
