• Architect, facilitate and propose design and review of new systems and process improvements.• Perform Exchange 2010, 2013 and Active Directory system installation, configuration and management.• Build/Install, Engineer, and Administer Exchange 2010 and 2013 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2.• Ensure servers are FISMA compliant with all security and software hardening recommendations and mandates.• Use/Administer Qualys Security Scanning Tools to scan and patch any security or patch discrepancies identified by scans to ensure security compliance and hardening of servers according to FISMA standards.• Complete annual security training for various security components for the Network, Windows Desktops, and Server security practices.• Involved in the architecture, setup, and configuration of the Exchange 2010/2013 on premises environment to Office 365 off premises.• Administer several Messaging Hygiene Devices in a three tier level of protection from viruses, phishing, malware emails, etc.: Symantec Messaging Gateway, Clearswift, and Symantec Mail Security. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and technologies.• Perform complex tier 3 troubleshooting and support for Microsoft Operating Systems, IIS, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Exchange 2010 Database Availability Group (DAG) High Availability services and replication, Mail Routing and retrieval, DNS, and non-Microsoft messaging solutions for email migrations.• Setup duplicate Disaster Recovery Exchange 2010 site in another Data Center and setup and manage servers, DAGs and replication, replication network, databases, etc.• Perform Disaster Recovery exercise for Exchange failing over databases to alternate disaster recovery site/data center and running Exchange out of DR site and failing back after disaster recovery exercise is over.• Install System Patches

• Provide technical and administrative support to resolve FDA customer support issues which include service requests related to the Active Directory environment, File Server, File Share, and User account administration.• Implement/Deploy new Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2 physical and virtual servers.• Ensure all related service requests/tickets are either processed or transferred to the appropriate group by determining if an issue is server or client related.• Create/Modify existing Technical FAQ’s and SOPs for IT Support staff (documentation).• Perform backup and restore and manage media for Symantec Netbackup environment.• Track, resolve, record, and notify end users on status of requests and incidents/tickets.• Perform monthly maintenance / patch updates to FDA servers.• Administer and maintain Windows servers.• Perform on-call duty on a rotational basis.• Investigate and resolve NETIQ and VMware server alerts.• Create/Modify Domain GPO’s• Use ADSI Edit, Active Directory Users and Computers, DNS, DHCP, Powershell, and other admin tools to administer the Active Directory Domain, Organizational Units (OU’s), GPO’s, Groups, and Users, etc.• Administer and upgrade Domain Controllers to Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.• Install and configure VMware ESXi / vSphere 5.0/5.1 Hosts and VMs/Servers.
