My passion is to spur and support fellow and aspiring entrepreneurs to create value and delight their stakeholders. I do that through my work as an investor / venture builder / mentor based in Singapore, focusing on the booming US$100B+ internet economy of Southeast Asia. I have invested / raised more than USD 1 billion for various business ventures, with multiple profitable exits. Through Aetius Capital, I have created a venture building and investment platform which empowers curated entrepreneurs to raise funds more easily and to connect with key decision makers. Since 2014, we have built / invested in / exited from various tech startups spanning across multiple domains including e-commerce, gaming, esports, fintech, proptech, telehealth, and digital media. To date, more than 70% of our early stage investments have succeeded in raising their Series A funding from reputable institutional investors. Prior to venture capital and entrepreneurship, I had a varied career experience in private equity with Temasek and wealth management with Credit Suisse. At Temasek, I was a founding team member and principal fund manager of a growth equity investment platform Heliconia Capital Management. Prior to that, I was also a member of the Singapore Government's Administrative Service, during which I led strategic policy teams to advise Cabinet Ministers on economic, finance and social policy issues.
