Engaged as Head of Global Underground UK, a music division of the internationally recognised entertainment company, Ministry of Sound in London. Ben brought proven commercial experience and success, long-standing artist relationships and broad industry knowledge to this hugely successful global electronic music brand. This senior position involved managing the day-to-day label business and UK team, including A&R and deal-making for all product releases, weekly project scheduling, management of creative production process, weekly P&L, negotiation of content licensing deals, management of digital & social media marketing for all releases and products. This was alongside managing the rapidly expanding branded touring & event business worldwide plus also developing the music publishing division; GU Music. Project managed the following International album campaigns: Carl Cox (Black Rock Desert), James Lavelle (Bangkok), Darren Emerson (Bogota), The Plump DJs (GUDJ Series), Sultan (Nubreed).

A&R responsible for negotiating exclusive worldwide licensing deals and signing a range of international recording artists to Positiva Records, a leading major label music imprint, which is now part of Universal Music in the UK.Major A&R successes included signing and developing the UK NO.1 artist - Room 5 feat Oliver Cheatham ‘Make Luv’, licensed from PIAS in Belgium. This record achieved UK sales in excess of 350,000 physical copies and was awarded the BPI Silver Sales Award. Ben was responsible for the synchronization of the ‘Make Luv’ music into the strategic worldwide ‘Lynx/Pulse’ TV advertising campaign, in partnership with BBH (UK).Awarded - Inaugural Winner - ‘Best Music Exploitation Award’ at the prestigious Music Week Awards ceremony in London - 2004.Ben also signed many further exclusive international licensing deals, and developed many UK Chart Hits with combined sales of well over 1 million physical units.
