About Ben Coes

First of all, someone hacked my LinkedIn. I lost a few thousand people. Please re-introduce yourself :)I'm a bestselling novelist and a private equity investor. After Columbia, I started at the White House and was a speechwriter, where I served the Secretary of Energy. I worked for T. Boone Pickens and several companies. I started a software company and a private equity firm. In between, I worked for the Governor of California on the presidential campaign and was the campaign manager of the Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney.In finance, I started Mustang, where we invested in private companies. We focused on consumer companies and software. I continue investing companies, especially owned/operator and family owners. During in finance, I started novels. So far, it's ten bestsellers.
