Full-time editor from March 2021 to September 2023; freelance editor and writer from June 2022 to present.

I was the main EFL teacher at a small independent language school, teaching children and adults everything from rudimentary pre-A1 English to advanced C1 classes. I designed my own curriculum, and planned lessons based on individual students' needs.In addition, I helped plan and execute various projects in schools across the Lombardy and Piedmont districts.

At EF I taught English to children between the ages of 3 and 18. While there I received excellent feedback from parents and students. I also volunteered to teach additional Adult Classes, Speech and Presentation courses, and specialist Life Clubs. I achieved 100% Net Promoter Scores (a measure of parent satisfaction) in all my observed lessons.

As a Floorwalker, I was responsible for providing IT assistance during the transition to an Electronic Patient Record. Working within departments such as Accident & Emergency and Biopsy Lab, I taught the hospital staff how to use the new system and solved any problems which arose.

I taught six regular classes of up to 55 students between the ages of 11 and 22. As well as my contracted English lessons, I taught History, Music and Maths.I also learnt valuable intercultural skills working in an underprivileged environment.
