Following a TUPE acquisition, I have taken on a hands-on leadership role within the social housing product development vertical of MRI Software, managing the delivery of over 40 products leading a distributed team across the UK and India.Providing internal quality assurance testing, improving and standardising processes across all Scrum development teams. Personally owning and presenting secure testing practices at external audits which ensure our continued recertification for ISO 27001:2005/2013 and continued compliance with GDPR.

A hands-on testing role I began in 2014, joining a highly motivated business wanting to expand its portfolio of products and focused on rebuilding its existing HomeSwapper product which services over 350K users each month using modern frameworks moving its hosting to Microsoft Azure architecture. I was recruited as the sole QA member responsible for carving out the initial processes, practices and behaviours that would help the business continue to release high quality software and grow.5+ years testing alongside, growing and nurturing a QA team focusing them on the best practices and behaviours of Test Analysts in a software business. We strive to work closely with developers, product owners, implementors and customer support, providing technical support to all levels of the business throughout our products lifecycle.I take pride in my ability to work across departments and take on a multitude of roles outside of the expected QA activities. Alongside testing all our products, I have also taken on project management, release management, technical support and application configuration on the Azure platform while also supporting my team’s career development.Owns and presents secure testing practices at external audits which ensure our continued recertification for ISO 27001:2005/2013 and continued compliance with GDPR.I have tested and trained colleagues on our rapidly expanding portfolio of products growing from two main products HomeSwapper and HomeHunt which now includes award winning and nominated products such as TAIM (AIMLogic, Insights) and Housing Jigsaw (ALERT, PRAH, EHR/ATLAS and ARA) suite of products.
