As part of my placement year, I undertook a year of work at WebBased Ltd. to further my education. Throughout my time working there, I learnt a great deal working as part of a Bespoke Development team which included Project Management, Senior Developers and Testers. I worked on both client side and server side developments, writing in mainly HTML and VBScript, however also used SQL and Dynamic SQL extensively, alongside with client side languages such as Javascricpt/jQuery. I also used CMS products such as Kentico 7 and 8 for rapid delivery to clients. Throughout my placement version control was an aspect which could not go unused, as all aspects of development had to be passed through it, and using case management systems such as FogBugz for Case monitoring having to be used on a daily basis.
