Sales supportProduct area: Women’s and Men’s Tailoring and Outerwear.This was a sales support role, working with the account manager on the Asos Tailoring account. Role included Critical path management, liaising with buyers for fabric and trim approvals, coordinating with tech team for timely fits, sending order confirmations to the buyers and booking forms to the factory. Ordering fabric, ensuring bulk fabric and trims reach the factory in time for delivery. Working with sales to update cost sheet with factory costings. Price negotiations with factory and buyers. Gained great experience liaising closely with their Vietnam, Morrocco and Romanian factory.

I worked at Memo Fashions for 9 years. I managed multi products which include denim, wovens and knitwear. During my tenure with Memo, I have worked on all departments which includes Jersey, woven, denim and knitwear with quite a few retailers on the high street. I have liaised with various factories in India, China, and Bangladesh. The main accounts I handled were Asda, Wallis, Evans, Lipsy, Tkmaxx, Amazon, Apricot, Roman Originals and Newlook. Also worked with European customers like Street one and Captain T.

I liaised with various factories in the Far East , working with highstreet brands such as Topshop, Tesco , Newlook , Jane Norman .My role within the company comprised of coordinating all orders from purchase order receipt up to delivery to customers warehouse, also did price negotiating with factories and clients, ordering packaging for production, managing production in the far East, understanding and translating the supplier manual to the factory, managing and maintaining the critical path for both development samples and production. Confirming shipments with forwarders, booking in stock to customer’s warehouses. I successfully managed the production process with the factories and liaised directly with the buyers for approvals.

In this role I worked with buyers from the Arcadia group and other high street retailers to deliver product into stores on time, adhering to customer guidelines. Accounts from the Arcadia group consists of Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Miss Selfridge as well as other retailers such as Asos, Long Tall Sally, Oasis, Bay Trading and Size up. I managed the critical path with factories and for the customers. Ensured all approvals were done on time. Controlled the production at factories to ensure that they are produced as approved by customers and ensure on time deliveries.
