Provide content quality assurance and strategy throughout Marketing and Communications department through the following:- Content strategy and leadership: help lead cross-functional "content team" comprising writers from every function in the department. Work with department, hospital, and system leaders on ad hoc content needs. - Writing: Report for and write health-related informational articles, breaking health news coverage, media statements, and long-form features/narratives of patients and providers. Serve as lead copywriter and facilitator for copywriting workgroups to support marketing campaigns. Write technical writing pieces for services lines and leaders as needed. - Editing: Serve as managing editor for Annual Report. Provide development, content, and line editing for long-form content and digital articles, print publications, as well as proofreading for all marketing collateral. - Ghostwriting and Leader Comms.: Support hospital and system leaders (including CEO) with strategic communications, such as memos, comms. strategy, video scripts, and the like. - Coaching: Offer writing coaching to department writers and supply rolling writing-coaching course for onboarding executive assistance. Develop coaching resources for department writers and content creators in other departments. Additional responsibilities included serving as Public Information Officer for COVID-19 incident command; offer PR assistance for press releases, media statements, and media monitoring.
