A 230/13.8kV distribution substation with four (4) incoming 230kV underground transmission lines. Four(4) transformer bays, two (2) 230kV reactor bays, sixteen (16) GIS breakers, all supported by 13.8 feeders, switchgear, LCC cabinets, capacitors, battery systems, generator, and solar panels.January 2020 - Present PEPCO White Flint Substation 229 (Scheduled completion June 2022)White Flint Substation No. 229 is a new substation to be located in Rockville, MD. White Flint will be a 69/13.8kV distribution-class 80MVA substation with ability to upgrade to an ultimate capacity of 120MVA. At the 69kV level, the new substation will feature SF6 gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), arranged in a 6-bay breaker-and-a-half (BAAH) bus configuration, with main bus tie breakers (20-breakers total), to accommodate four (4) power transformer positions (with gas-insulated bus and gas-to-air bushings) and sixteen (16) sub-transmission line positions (with gas-insulated cable termination modules). All 69kV sub-transmission and 13.8kV distribution cables will enter the substation below grade and will terminate inside the GIS or metalclad switchgear, respectively.November 2018 - December 2019 Successfully completed construction efforts for Property Group Partners & the Archdiocese of Washington at Holy Rosary Church New Improvements. -
