The University is committed to outreach work with local schools, colleges and community groups, aiming to raise aspirations and encourage people from a variety of backgrounds to consider progression to higher education. As ambassadors, I have the opportunity to talk to students, to explain to them what architecture is and how an academic career in architecture works. In addition, I am carrying out workshops to stimulate the students' creativity and their desire to get involved thinking about possible uses of the buildings, designing plants and creating 3D models.
