Benedetta Gargiulo Morelli founded NOS Design in 2013, after working at Foster + Partners’ London main office. She graduated from the University of Sapienza Rome (2003-2007) with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design with Honors, later earning her Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, UK (2007-2010) with the final project being nominated for the AA Foster + Partners Prize. She went on to complete her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Architecture RIBA Part 3, at the University of Westminster London (2011-2012) and her master's degree in Architectural Management and Design from the Instituto de Empresa Business School (2014-2015). Through the experience of designing award winning projects and buildings as well as working on international projects in China, Singapore, Morocco, Nigeria, UK and Italy, Benedetta has earned a reputation as a respected architect. She has won several awards and received recognition including the “Foster + Partners Infrastructure and Sustainability Award” for the “Embassy of Third Nature”, being published in the journal of “AR - Architects Rome” n. 113 as well as in the “Projects - Italian Architecture Magazine” n. 10 Special Rome in 2015. She was also an honorable mention for the 3rd Tongji Hub Youth Talent Designer Exhibition in Shanghai, China for the project “Colour House” in 2014. Along with her architectural practice, in 2011 Benedetta started ITAD (Italian Architecture and Design Association), which is an international education exchange platform that promotes Italian Design Excellence. She is also a visiting professor at Marconi University and former official director of international relations (2018-2015) at the Chamber of Architects of Rome.
