Coming out of the University of California, Davis as a communications major and human development minor, I decided to take what I learned and apply it to the business world. I started out in the insurance industry getting my Life/Health and Property and Casualty licenses working for Farmers Insurance. That’s where I got my first real taste of customer service, account management, and sales. I worked in the insurance industry for a couple of years before I transitioned to a B2C sales position. The bulk of my working experience comes from my tenure in B2C sales. I worked my way up from an entry level sales rep, to a lead account manager while working at K2 Consulting. During that time, I really discovered my passion for helping people and mentoring others. As a very systematic individual, I took the training materials that we had available and expanded upon them. By doing so, I was able to replicate a system of success that was taught to all new team members. Over the span of a few years my love of training and coaching put me in a position to expand a market to the greater Philadelphia/ Northern Delaware region. That was where I started Intuitive Business Acquisitions. Starting up my own business definitely had its challenges to say the least. In my capacity as President, the buck stopped with me. I was in charge of driving sales and motivating the sales team, training my leadership team to be great trainers themselves and replicate the system that was working, and all back end duties including hiring/firing, payroll, meetings with our Fortune 500 clients like Verizon and Direct Energy, and sales territory management.We were going strong for a couple of years until COVID-19 started. Seeing the writing on the wall and how much the pandemic would affect our face to face B2C marketing approach, I decided to close up shop and pursue a position that I can do fully from a phone and computer. As the pandemic raged on, it became more pertinent that I move back to the bay area to stay closer to family in case anything were to happen. Which is why I am eager to leverage my experience and help everyone grow. 2020 isn’t the bum year that everyone says, it’s ripe full of opportunities for those with a vision and the drive to achieve them.
