I completed and NCTJ Diploma in Journalism on the News Associates Sports Journalism course. This included writing stories for Mancunian Matters, freelancing for other outlets and studying for the exams of the modules on the course.

Responsibilities included leading a committee in the organisation of the university radio station. This included the content and output of the station as well as the organisation of charity events and outside broadcasts. I developed myself personally, in addition to the whole station, by contacting industry professionals and organising events for the whole society. Worked with a team of students to produce three weekly sports shows. This included hosting, producing and working on the social media for all of the shows. Developed skills of leading a team and improved ability to motivate team members to work towards a goal. Co-ordinated a charity football match, the event raised £2,000 and included a quiz, a karaoke night and working with a team of 30 people to run the event.
