In my role as Sustainability Manager for Kaiser Permanente of Washington I am responsible for the implementation of the national sustainability goals. This focuses on the reduction of water, power, and waste also, implementing green building standards.

This commision is a citizen advisory group to the City Council.

In my role as Sustainability Manager for Kaiser Permanente of Washington I am responsible for the implementation of the national sustainability goals. This focuses on the reduction of water use, the reduction of waste and, implementing green building standards.

In this role I managed all the waste related vendor contracts, managed and operated the university's onsite compost facility, ran outreach programs for students, and managed specialty recycling programs that dealt with hard to recycle items like batteries and printer cartilages.I am a Recycling Coordinator that loves to both learn about and teach others about how to treat their waste in the most ethical way. I have used that passion at Seattle University to aid the students and staff in creating systems that promote behavior change in ways both big and small. Waste is my expertise but I am fascinated by all aspects in the world of sustainability.
