Senior Analyst of Business Architecture Development and implementation of corporate business architecture. This included developing a Product Model to describe Asurion Products and Services, a Business Capability Model/Taxonomy to describe what Asurion does as business, and a Process Model Catalog to describe how Asurion executes their business processes. Additionally, I am the Business Architect and Requirements Team Leader for a greenfield software platform to deliver client solutions for millions of insurance subscribers. This includes creating Architectural Guidance for Project Architects, requirements-gathering plans, and operating models, and facilitating high-level requirements efforts.

One and a half years as a Business Architect for Asurion. Projects included such things as: Business Capability discovery & facilitation, modeling, and socialization with high-level business participants. Implementation of a corporate enterprise architecture modeling toolset, and modeling languages including TOGAF, Archimate, BPMN, and UML. Consultation for starting a large-scale agile development and business architecture of a greenfield software platform to deliver client solutions for millions of insurance subscribers. Facilitation and determination of a BPM toolset selection and conceptual architecture development for the said platform. Presentation of all deliverables to all layers of business and IT management, including the C-suite.

Managing support for large corporate accounts for Aspect’s Workforce Management software suite is the main responsibility required for a technical support manager at Aspect. Responsibilities also included directing support activities of my team members to meet service level agreements, engaging tiers of support effectively to prioritize work load, utilizing Engineering to enhance or correct defects for the software through defect tracking and defect review boards, and collaborating with Sales to meet Aspect objectives to migrate installed base to the newest more supportable versions. I also managed the global Advanced support for the Workforce Management and Performance Management products. Additionally, I provided support direction and support planning for these products, which includes cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Presales.Ancillary tasks included managing a sophisticated LAB for WFM including VMware, SAN storage, Oracle, MS SQL, and clusters. My career path at Aspect included first level through third level support where I always excelled and gained recognition cross-departmentally.
