My initial focus was on extending the work from the previous summer and exploring future businesses for Microsoft Hardware. A product unit with 20 or so people was built out relating to these.

About 3 months and $50k spent later I had hacked apart (both physically and in code) a Microsoft Surface unit and prototyped a new product line for Microsoft Hardware. It ended up being cool enough that I got to demo to Bill Gates, Ray Ozzie, and everyone in between.

Worked on all iPod products shipped Sept. 2006, but was primarily focused on the 2G Nano (http://bit.ly/2GNano). My team was responsible for accessory compatibility for the new release. There was a major architecture redesign in that product version and I worked with the development teams to solve a number of problematic edge cases the new design.
