Throughout my career, I have honed my writing, editing, and reporting skills and have been recognized for my work. I am passionate about mentoring and teaching the next generation of journalists. I have extensive experience in career counseling, running internship programs and networking.As a mentor, I have helped dozens of young journalists develop their skills and build their careers. I believe it's essential to provide guidance and support to those who are just starting out in the field, and I have always been committed to helping them succeed.In addition to my work as a mentor, I have taught journalism courses at several universities and developed curricula for journalism programs. I've also presented at major journalism conventions on topics including digital tools, interview preparation, resume/cover letter reviews, personal branding, social media and career navigation. I feel it's important for me to share my knowledge and experience with others through education to help journalists be successful in their careers.As a career advisor, I have helped journalists navigate the complex media world and find their ideal paths.
