In my role as Database Administrator, I direct and oversee the design and development of systems used for managing data such as data warehouses, data stores, and other business intelligence systems that support our operational, program, and donor-related needs. I am a vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our database infrastructure build out, with a particular focus on Salesforce.

In this position, I developed and maintained information technology strategies for the organization by managing staff and vendors, and researching and implementing technological strategic solutions. I also worked with Education Pioneers to improve and develop it's online alumni network, The Exchange, which is built upon a Salesforce community.

I worked with Education Pioneers to improve and develop it's online alumni network, The Exchange. At Education Pioneers, I helped complete the switch to the Salesforce platform, and managed vendor relations.

In my position, I managed the day to day tech needs for the organization. This included desktop support, management of their website, production of videos about their work, and management of all tech vendors. In the past, I also helped create a curriculum and teach numerous classes on Excel and Powerpoint for their workshop program.

I helped the head of the IT department handle staff tech needs, as well as helping in maintaining our website.

I was the tech chair for YNPNsfba. I helped them migrate to a new website, maintained their listserv, and event registration systems. I helped make key decisions on events, budget issues, and helped set the goals for the organization.

I helped Fair Trade USA transition from an old content management database, to Salesforce. I spent months cleaning up their data and adding new information that made the database more useful to the organization as a whole.
