During my time at university, one of the units we were tasked with allowed us to work along side Brodericks which at its core is a vending machine operator, Brodericks were looking to create and app, with the additional task of wanting to retain more customers, generating and increasing their base customer loyalty. After several meetings with John Broderick (CEO) and attending various conventions tracking customer information we had an idea of how to tackle this issue, taking on his opinions and ideas and merging them with our plan. Me and my team provided John with key information on his core customers, providing him with information such as the demographic and personality of his core customer base. Finally we offered John solutions on how he and his team could retain and attract new customers, plus presenting John with a release plan for the App he wanted to create, we also added that a product change needed to be carried out, with suggestions of products which could boost the attraction of new customers. Overall John was very pleased with what we offered, saying that within his 35 years of business we presented information that he didn’t knew existed.
