What a ride it has been! Starting my professional career at the age of 14 as a ‘neighborhood yard kid,’ and then graduating up through the ranks of high school jobs, I began to learn the importance of creating customer loyalty, thinking like an owner, and always trying to find a way to make something, anything, better than you found it.As a young infantry Marine, I found out that not only does the devil live in the details, but in combat, they can make the difference in life and death. My time spent in the Marine Corps truly crafted who I am today as a servant leader and as a valuable team member.Upon exiting the Corps, within one year of being hired as a house sweeper, I earned the lead Superintendent title in a new home subdivision at the age of 21. I excelled at home building; not only on the ‘sticks and bricks’ side, but also on the client/homeowner relationship side. The year 2007 would bring tremendous opportunity that could potentially allow me to do something I thought had passed me by; becoming a college graduate. In four short/long years, I graduated with honors from Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.Today, in my post-graduate years, I am focused on utilizing and developing my creative side. In my spare time, I am a semi-professional photographer with an ever-searching eye for the next ‘perfect shot.’ I enjoy creative writing, poetry, and keeping a journal, but most of all being a helper and friend to my beautiful wife, and a daddy to my three brilliant daughters! In my career, I have cut lawns, made sandwiches, shot grenade launchers, built over 400 homes, remodeled 40 H&R Blocks, built a Zaxby's, and managed large sign projects all over the Southeast...just to name a few. Like I said…It has been a ride...And I'm loving every minute of it!Core Competencies Include:Team LeadershipProject ManagementBusiness OperationsCommunications (Written and Verbal)Critical Thinking/Problem Solving

During this time, the beginning of my third 'life transition', Buildrite Construction hired me as a part-time, traveling superintendent mostly for the remodeling of over 40 H&R Blocks around the Southeast. Without the income provided by Buildrite during this time, things would have been much harder on me and my family. I am forever indebted to Bryan Alexander and Brian Fulghum for their role in realizing my potential and helping me to succeed during this trying time.
