People Builders International was originally formed to sponsor the seminars I conducted once a week (12 hours straight each week) for the inmates and staff at California's infamous San Quentin State Prison.It was where I first spent time with Charlie Manson, many other "interesting characters," and several others who remain my good friends until this day . . . both staff and convicts/inmates.People Builders International grew into an international training and human potential movement. Under different ownerships, I'm proud to say it still operates to this day in many parts of the world.

I was a "Big Brother" to several young men who were going through rough patches in their lives through no fault of their own. It was probably far more rewarding for me and my family than it was for them . . . but you never know!

Founded in 1939, The Personnel Institute specialized in working with large corporations and their salespeople. It's founder/my friend, Morris Pickus, was the man who gave W. Clement Stone his first copy of Dr. Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich." Clem Stone then required all of his hundreds of thousands of salespeople to buy and read the book, thereby rescuing Dr. Hill and his book from relative obscurity.Fast forward several years: Dr. Hill worked for me the last two years of his life and Clem Stone had become a good friend. Funny how life works!

I was invited to be a "VIP guest" at the launch of Apollo 14 by my friends Jim & Jeannie Harrington (Jim was one of the three Launch Test Supervisors of the Manned Space Program/Jeannnie was a Distributor for Holiday Magic, the MLM I was running at the time).I then had the privilege of being the "Guest of Honor" at a dinner for the Astronauts of Apollo 15 (David Scott, Jim Irwin and Al Worden), many of their ground crew members, and a scattering of Astronauts/ground crew members from Apollo 16 & 17.During the evening we began brainstorming a couple of ideas I had for improving the relationships between the NASA flight and ground/launch communities (they were terrible at the time). And for using the 100 or so Astronauts who were not on current flight status to cross the nation explaining the benefits NASA had brought to the USA and to the world. The purpose of the latter being to create support for additional NASA funding at the grassroots level. Col. James Irwin dubbed me NASA's "Attitude Coach" for Apollo 15, 16 & 17. . . and we were buddies until the day he prematurely passed. He was one of the finest people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Both programs were successful and continue in various forms to this day.

Although I enjoyed the ocean/San Francisco Bay rescue work over the years, the Cuban Patrol in particular was during "interesting times." Just did my part as best I could.

As the titles would imply, first I sold, then I helped buy, then I bought. And, at age 19-20, I was told I was the youngest buyer in Macy's then 100 year history.
