I filled several positions within the Information Security field at BCX. I was initially contracted to implement security solutions to outsourced customers. This responsibility grew into a managerial position where I managed the BCX managed security function. In 2007 I focused my attention on Governance, Risk and Compliance.Managing a team of product specialist and information security managers as part of an outsourced agreements to various blue chip companies in South Africa. - Responsible for the security service of total outsourced security service to various customers.- Managing Operational Level Agreements (OLA) between Security Competency and Service Delivery Manager.- Security services delivered and managed according to OLA were for Policy Compliance, Network and Host Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security, Malicious Code Protection, and Content Filtering- A 24x7 Incident Response Service was delivered with the Policy Compliance, Intrusion Detection, Malicious Code and Perimeter Security services. - Monthly meetings with customers to report on security status, issues and to discuss recommendations for improvement.
