Ben is a full-time illustrator, animator and designer based in Cape Town. Having graduated at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2007 with a degree in multimedia, Ben has gone on to produce a body of work within advertising and animation industry. His great passion for cartoons, comics and animation started at an early age and he draws his influences and inspiration from the likes of Jamie Hewlett, Jim Cheung, Rob Guillory and Steve Prescott.He also has an immense interest in fantasy, science fiction and horror films (particularly ones revolving around lycanthropy) as well as heavy metal music and these themes appear in quite a number of his works.Ben has produced work for a number of clients both locally and abroad ranging from TV Commercials, Explainer videos, comics, educomics, illustrations, graphic design and long format animation.
