Operations officer for Security Force Assistance Team consisting of four field grade officers, three senior noncommissioned officers, twelve security forces military policemen, and nine contractors conducting full-spectrum foreign internal defense operations during Operation Enduring Freedom. Advisor to seven Afghan Uniformed Police Garrison officers and an NCO, responsible for the development of partnered ANSF within Kandahar City, enabling their retention of decisive terrain and implementing transition to ANSF-in-the-lead. Inspired and influenced supported Afghan leaders and patrolmen to execute sufficient framework ops to maintain security, posture forces to respond to opportunities and emergencies, participate in targeted operations, and move forward with Afghan-led sustainment operations.- Senior combat adviser and trainer for ops and battle tracking, intelligence collection, targeting, training management, and signal to an Afghan Uniformed Police battalion in Kandahar City, Afghanistan.- Executive officer of newly established Security Forces Assistance Team; quickly adapted to advise Afghan National Army officers of a sustainment battalion in professional conduct, maintenance operations, and the art of predictive targeted logistics for a supported Infantry brigade- Established from the ground up a Tactical Operations Center (construction, furnishing, equipping) and worked through the Afghan commander for manning and training to command and control a 470-man battalion spread across 30 checkpoints and 600 sqkm in and around Kandahar City and 5 subordinate police substations.- Identified Afghan NCO partially trained in human intelligence collection; mentored and augmented training to create trend analysis and targeting capabilities, helping him to quickly establish a reputation as the best intelligence officer in the Kandahar City police garrisons.- Repeatedly called upon to conduct difficult and dangerous engagements pivotal to partnered operations.
