My teams developed web and mobile solutions, including high-traffic cloud-hosted enterprise projects. InsideColby.com won the gold medal in the 2008 Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District 1 Communications Award.- Development of Colby College Museum of Art website, including custom integration with EmbARK Web Kiosk, a searchable online database of digital images, integrated with custom Zoomify code.- Management and supervision of student workers.

Main responsibilities included programming new modules using Informix 4GL in a Linux environment and re-engineering the database for this company's Utility Billing software package. The software was written to work on the DBMS of customer choice, such as IBM DB2, MS-SQL, and Oracle. Created SOAP web services to share XML data with other applications developed by the company.

Developed web applications for the University's web site (http://www.umaine.edu) such as events calendaring, news administration, dynamic campus map, and the University's expert and contact database system. These web applications were developed with ASP, PHP, XML, Javascript, and Microsoft SQL for the DBMS.

Responsibilities included developing desktop and web-based applications for internal use by the bank such as reporting and automation tools. Applications were developed using Powerbuilder, and ASP.NET with C#. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 was used as the DBMS of choice, utilizing stored procedures, triggers, views, and tables containing millions of rows of data.

Supported a LAN of 1000+ desktop workstations running Windows NT 4.0. Was responsible for daily backup of Novell, NT and PBX servers, troubleshooting workstation and network issues, and for preparing older workstations for donation to public schools.
