I am working for Kerr Greulich Engineers as a Senior Engineer. I am in responsible charge of the mechanical engineering and design for my project team. Kerr Greulich Engineers provides building assessments, project planning services (project scope, budget, project planning), design services (MEP construction documents), construction administration, and MEP commissioning.I am also a member of the Leadership Team at Kerr Greulich. The Leadership Team is actively defining the leadership succession plan and the strategic plan for the company to reach its goals.

Noveen provides MEPT commissioning, construction administration, building assessment, capital expenditure planning, and pre-construction services (plan review, VE efforts, submittal review, etc.)

I am working as a Mechanical Engineer and am responsible for the design of HVAC systems for all types of construction. In addition to design, I also participate in construction administration by reviewing installations and comparing them to the contract documents and helping with construction coordination issues. I have been the lead mechanical engineer on my project team for 3 years, managing the work of employees assigned to me. I complete load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for the project; I coordinate ductwork/chase /penetration locations with the project architect; I size all pipe and duct needed for HVAC system operation; and all equipment (air handlers, pumps, fans, etc). I have designed 10 LEED projects (retail, commercial, educational, and industrial facilities) and functioned as the LEED Project Administrator. I have designed several healthcare facilities. I have experience with most major system types (chilled/hot water two pipe and four pipe systems fan coils and air handlers, VAV, constant volume, split systems, roof tops, pool units, water source heat pumps, geothermal, and steam systems. I have had extensive experience with large and small projects, new construction and renovations.

Worked for WKU in the Planning, Design, & Construction Department. They are responsible for all construction projects on campus. I was exposed to the skills required of a project manager and gained experience in construction practices.

Worked as an HVAC apprentice. I learned how to install HVAC units, run trunk-line and duct, route returns, position vents, size units and duct work for proper loads, and service/repair of HVAC units and duct. We completed both private residential jobs and commercial jobs for WKU.

Worked as an apprentice electrician. I learned the basics of commercial and residential wiring. I learned how to wire standard and switched receptacles; single-pole, 3-way, and 4-way switches; multi-phase power; and terminate the wires at the main panels. Along the way I also learned some of the National Electric Code.
