I like to work on the border between hardware and software. Working with both low-level programming and electronics. I've mostly used C and VHDL but have used or been educated in various languages such as Scheme, Pascal, Simula, C++, Java and of course assembly languages. I have recently started to look into the Rust language.I haven't got any formal degree, though I've studied computer science at Stockholm University. My last education was a one-year course in programming embedded systems, a "yrkeshögskoleutbildning". For the last 10 years, I've been employed at Imsys AB, a company developing CPUs and making modules around them. before that, I worked with electronics. For 10 years as a treatment assistant for disabled youths. This gave me rather good social skills when interacting with people.At Imsys I've done programming, hardware development and customer support. The company went bankrupt mid 2024 and left me unemployed.I'm 64 years old I think that I will work for at least 3 more years before my retirement.
