With more than 2000 granted patents worldwide and more than 25 years of experience within radio interface, transceiver architecture and radio access algorithm research and standardization within different wireless communication standards (5G-NR, WiFi, LTE, HSPA, and EDGE) I belong to the world class researchers in the mobile communication community. My research focus has mainly been on mobile terminal /Machine Type Communication device aspects, but the research scope have been wider during the last years. My expertise spans from mobile terminal radio design for cellular systems via low power, lowcomplexity baseband algorithm research, to higher layer aspects likemobility procedures and recently radio communication aspects of applications related to Internet of Things and the cloud . In these areas I have been involved inprojects spanning from basic research and cellular communication standardization, via hardware design, to software ``bug hunting'' in live products.Specialties: World class inventor within the area of radio access and wireless communication standards, with more than 600 filed patent applications and currently 476/389 Granted US/EP patents and more than 2000 Granted patents worldwide. Recognized as one of Sweden's most prolific inventor (O. Ejermo, "Svenska Uppfinnare", April 2011), and belong to the few hundreds of worldwide prolific inventors with 400 or more granted US patents.
