The future is never certain, but good planning and hard work pave the way to success. I do my best to know where I am going, what milestones I need to reach along the way, and to always keep working even if I don’t know what the next step will bring.The fundamental plan to my life revolves around one goal. To be financially stable. To accomplish this, the first step for me is to avoid all unnecessary debt. In order to pay for school, I’ve continued to work a full-time job while pursuing my degree. With the desired outcome to graduate in 2023 and still be debt-free. My next step will be to acquire a position within a company that, optimally, will pay for me to go back to school to receive my master’s in accounting and pass the CPA exam. Alternatively, a company that pays enough for me to work part-time and still afford to go back to school for my masters.During this time, I plan to make my only purchase with debt, a mortgage on a primary residence. Done with the intent to pay it off in under 10 years and never go into debt again. This accompanied by steadily investing in a Roth IRA and mutual funds over 30-40 years will provide the means necessary to retire comfortably and securely.While my life focuses primarily on these financial goals. I do have some interests outside of school and work. I am a computer enthusiast; I like to stay up to date on computer hardware releases and other technological developments. I have researched, selected, ordered, and built three personal computers. And provided aid to multiple friends doing the same process.
