Benjamin is an arts management professional with expertise in galleries, museums, and international organisations. He began his career managing public art projects and acquiring artworks for public and corporate clients with Brisbane-based cultural consultancy company, Positive Solutions.He relocated to Singapore in 2009 to establish a commercial art gallery, launching careers for young and emerging artists, developing new markets for mid-career and established artists, while curating hundreds of exhibitions and special programs. In 2017 he organised ASEAN's 50-year anniversary exhibition at the ASEAN Gallery in Jakarta, Indonesia. He went on to provide strategic planning, curatorial, and training services for the ASEAN Community Relations Division from 2018 to 2022. In 2020 he was appointed Project Director of KONNECT ASEAN, a USD 2 million cultural diplomacy initiative supported by the Republic of Korea and the ASEAN Foundation’s flagship arts programme until 2023.Benjamin recently returned to his home country to take up a position with Queensland Museum, specifically partnerships for World Science Festival Brisbane. He has a Master of Arts in Curatorial Practice from the University of Bergen (Norway).
