As an accounting student, I am passionate about numbers, financial acumen, and commitment to accountability within the structure of an organization. As a detail-oriented and performance-motivated student, I am continuously working on expanding my knowledge in areas such as financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and financial analysis. I am eager to gain practical experience through internships and part-time roles in accounting and finance. I am open to networking opportunities, mentorship, and connecting with professionals who share my passion for the field. Having taken a nontraditional path through University, I learned the value of real world work experience when I took a break from my BS in Accountancy in 2016. After working in customer service positions to great success (#1 representative in the world of over 1,000 employees), I realized that I still loved the puzzle and challenge that numbers and data bring, and returned to complete my BS and continue on to my MA in 2022.
