We have 93 direct equity investments in Europe’s leading cleantech start-ups, strategic investment partnerships with venture capital firms interested in backing bold entrepreneurs and work in partnership with governments and cities on mobilising the trillions needed to transform the way we eat, live, and move. I work with a fantastic team and a community of innovation partners using systems thinking to discover new ways to go about rapid decarbonisation.

Responsible for developing insurance policy at the FCA including transposition of EU directives, supporting insurance firms via Innovate and the regulatory sandbox and advising on FCA own-initiative policy reforms. Specialised in general insurance disclosure with key responsibilities including changes to renewal disclosure rules (PS16/21) requiring disclosure of previous years premiums, implementation the Insurance Distribution Directive and Smarter Consumer Communications.

Responsible for public policy advocacy for the general insurance division of Suncorp Group. Proactive management of key political, regulatory and consumer issues including identification of risks, cross-functional project management and stakeholder engagement. Focus on insurance affordability and accessibility with key issues including disaster risk reduction, climate change and competition policy.

Responsible for identifying regulatory change and contributing to policy debate through research, submission writing and stakeholder engagement. Managed coordinated response across corporate affairs functions with a focus on insurance affordability issues including flood risk mitigation and anti-discrimination reform.
