With success in my previous role in Council, I was selected to lead the Asset Management Group.- Leading Council in the development of sustainable long term asset management practices and strategies- Providing decision makers with relevant asset information to facilitate informed decisions- Analyse relevant financial, economic and asset data to provide succinct reports and recommendations- Liaise at all levels with utilities, builders, other government agencies and the public on asset management issues- Exceptional time management skills including the ability to prioritise and meet competing and conflicting deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.- Perform HR functions including EEO, selection, induction, disciplinary actions and retention of staff- Developing evidence based information for capital project evaluation- Provide ‘whole of life’ costing for asset creation and Council strategies- Developing and reviewing Asset Management Policy, Strategy, Plans, and Road Management plan- Responsible for annual infrastructure asset financial revaluation- Manage damage minimisation processes through systematic targeting of high risk work, utilising systems, software, local law permits and infringements

I accepted a role at a local university campus. Initially employed to support I.T. and technical services, the role developed into the management of the fleet and asset portfolio. This proved to be a turning point in my career. With the application of my business analyst experience across an entire business operation, asset management as the underpinning of business decisions became the area in which I wanted to specialise.

Having returned to my home town, I worked to improve existing relationships with customers, and to develop new customers. My ability to liaise with all levels of business and convey the value proposition of the product / service saw me consistently exceeded sales targets without compromising on margin.

Following success in Local Government I was approached undertake a range of I.T. transformation projects as business sort to evolve and take advantage of emerging technology.

After year 12 contracted to Stonnington City Council in a desktop support role. Having idenitfied opportunities for system improvements and rationalisation, I was approached by other Councils to undertake similar within their organisaitons. My final project was the successful management of the Y2K project at Bayside City Council.
