Worked in a consultative role with clients post-sale to architect, propose, and lead delivery teams in implementation of AWS solutions.

- Helped build early versions of getoctane.io, a cloud-native usage-based billing platform for SaaS products.- Architected a production-scale TimescaleDB database- Developed a customer Kubernetes operator to aggregate hardware usage data to feed to Timescale for billing information (Golang)

- Designed a machine learning platform on Kubernetes from scratch for one of the world's biggest telecom companies. All components used were open source. I designed an RBAC system to work with the company's existing Active Directory setup, as well as a CI/CD pipeline for deploying the entire stack to the selected infrastructure.- Designed Terraform and Ansible modules to package an enterprise SIEM application for a vendor. The challenge was the need for multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) but also bare metal deployments (Packet and vSphere used for testing). I also wrapped the deployment code in an API layer, which allowed the company to develop an entirely new multi-tenant version of their application.- Built a CI pipeline to dynamically scale out and scan thousands of kernels for vulnerabilities. Also helped design a UI to display vulnerability results so their sales team could use it in discussions with clients that required custom kernel versions.- Designed a solution for a major American bank to encrypt data at rest using AWS KMS with automatic key rotation.- Built a prototype video conferencing application with Golang, Twilio, and React -- completely self-service with Stripe billing integrated.- Implemented dozens of CI/CD pipelines using various open source and third party tools (Jenkins, Buildkite, CircleCI, etc.)- Built an open source Kubernetes operator for Logstash to sit alongside Elastic's ECK operator.

- Developer on the Golang/Ansible/Terraform-based Kubernetes installer- Develop and manage integrations with Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana- Contribute upstream to Kubernetes projects, such as ExternalDNS and Kubespray- CoreOS, systemd, etcd

Price optimization and market analysis for online retailers born from the ARK accelerator. Developed algorithms in Ruby for product identification, competitor discovery, and price-point optimization.
