About Benice Mach

Hi! I'm Benice (she/her) and I graduated from Binghamton University with my Master's in Public Administration along with a certification in nonprofit management. I also received my Bachelors degree in Economics and love learning how to integrate my degrees. My interest in the public sector started during my Foundations of Civic Engagement course. My professor and peers challenged me to explore civic engagement beyond volunteerism and helped me understand that political activism is also imperative in implementing meaningful change. I work with nonprofit organizations to develop programs and engage communities to participate in the policy process. This includes finding volunteer placements, encouraging members to give feedback and complete surveys, or simply even raising more awareness about different social issues.During my free time I enjoy painting and wood-burning positive quotes, learning about sustainability, and composting!
