• Led design & development of innovative large-scale surface metrology & characterization tools • Performed system modeling, software and algorithm development, field-testing, performance specification & uncertainty analysis of camera-based measurement systems• Interfaced with the U.S. Department of Energy for project proposal, design, reporting, & management• Built ray casting model to simulate images of mirror arrays while developing an innovative camera-based mirror orientation tracking system for use in future power generation plants• Managed use of NREL’s dedicated Optical Characterization Laboratory
