My career to date has presented me with the opportunity to experience life from both consultancy and client perspectives. With the focus always on maximising ROI from customer data whether through optimised data collection strategies, improved customer understanding, or insight led communications.The years 2000 - 2009 were spent developing my skills and experience with customer insight specialists dunnhumby, primarily positioned within client facing roles. Here I worked with several major blue chip companies across several sectors, seeking to place customer insight at the heart of decision making.In 2009 I was presented with the opportunity to join the UK's leading home shopping retailer Shop Direct Group (Littlewoods.com, Very.co.uk, Isme.com). Working within the Customer Insight Team, my primary focus was to support the provision of customer insight to the Buying & Merchandising community. This required me to develop a strong working relationship and understanding of Buying & Merchandising to ensure relevant customer insight could be accessed.In late 2010 I moved into the role of Retail Insight Manager, focusing primarily on the provision of weekly customer trading insights to the Exec, Brand and Trading Teams at Shop Direct. The role presented me with the opportunity to manage a team of five SQL analysts.In April 2012 I was given the opportunity to join Beyond Analysis, a young and dynamic Marketing Insight Consultancy.
