Appointed by the Council of Ministers (the executive council of the Dutch Government), I conduct - together with six appointed colleagues - independent research to uncover the connection between the childcare benefits scandal and out-of-home placements.

The Advisory Council aims to draw on collective experiences, integrate these insights with existing (scientific) knowledge, and translate them into actionable improvements in national policy and practice. Through a collaborative approach, it seeks to develop a forward-looking agenda that fosters the optimal development of all children in the Netherlands.

As an independent expertise center, Bureau Burgerberaad supports clients, practitioners, and other professionals with tailored advice, training, and support based on domestic and international knowledge and experience. While not conducting citizens' assemblies directly, Bureau Burgerberaad acts as an independent advisor, trainer, supervisor, and evaluator.

NJR is the umbrella organization for nearly 40 national youth organizations, making it the largest youth network in the Netherlands.As vice-chair, served as the first substitute for the chair. Own portfolios included: Youth Care, financial position of young leaders, lowering the voting age, COVID-19, and the SER Youth Platform.

Extended (parttime) internship at the National Office of the second largest political party in the Netherlands. This internship focussed on the internal structure of the association behind the political party (30.000 members). I was given the task of supporting the organization of the National Convention, updating internal regulations and being secretary of several party committees.

Fulltime internship at the Campaigns and Communications cluster, primarily with the National Campaign Team for the Municipal Elections of 2022.
