This project included delivery of a five-day workshop in environmental education for the public sector and a five-day watershed monitoring education course for 60 state government technicians. Wyoming DEQ donated a modern water quality testing kit to the NGO community of Goias upon completion of this course. .The final phase of the project was the creation of a state-sponsored television publicity campaign to raise public awareness of the need for cleaner rivers in Goias.
