Planned the itinerary and selected the primary guide for a successful two-week cultural & natural history tour of western Bhutan, booked through Hole Hiking Experience by Cathy Shill.

Coordinated educational and recreational activities for participants in five 8-day long research programs focused on songbird nesting success in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Taught a 6-credit class in Applied Conservation Science and a 3-credit class in Ecotourism Development to 21 senior-level forest and park Rangers and Managers in their final year toward a Bachelors of Science at the College of Natural Resources of the Royal University of Bhutan in Lobesa, Bhutan. Also edited research projects for publication, and served on the Faculty Research Committee.

Charged with set-up, design and acquisition of all resources for a full-service text & digital library attached to new RSPN headquarters in Thimphu, Bhutan, with a focus on Himalayan environmental issues, sciences, and education; advising RSPN on donor development, website upgrades, international networking, new hires, and establishing future priorities for environmental research in Bhutan; editing RSPN publications; assisting with local marketing of RSPN books on the environment.

I bring groups of school kids and adults into Grand Teton National Park for field-based learning in the natural sciences and outdoor skills, including botany, geology, wildlife observation, tracking, cross-country skiing, and basic field research techniques.

Guiding half-day to six-day wildlife-watching tours in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks; educating clients in natural history, wildlife biology and environmental issues pertaining to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem; managing trip logistics and customer care.

Responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of 40+ hospital and nursing home volunteers and School-to-Career interns. Expanded the volunteer program to improve patient services and ferally-mandated satisfaction ratings. Coordinated annual community blood drives and revised the hospital’s Volunteer Handbook

Raised $$ for the monitoring and research on recently re-introduced gray wolves in Yellowstone National Park. Raised public awareness on the critical ecological role wolves play in the Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Through the Foundation’s Partners of the Americas, I developed and implemented a collaborative program with Secretariat of the Environment of Goias and the Department of Environmental Quality of the State of Wyoming to institute a long-range water quality education program for the Brazilian State of Goias. This project included delivery of a five-day workshop in environmental education for the public sector and a five-day watershed monitoring education course for 60 state government technicians. Wyoming DEQ donated a modern water quality testing kit to the NGO community of Goias upon completion of this course. .The final phase of the project was the creation of a state-sponsored television publicity campaign to raise public awareness of the need for cleaner rivers in Goias.

Grand Teton National Park, WYPlanned and executed all phases of fundraising for a well-established and successful science education center with a $1m annual operating budget. Coordinated and completed a $410,000 capital campaign and a $1.1m endowment campaign. Established planned giving program; wrote all bi-annual newsletters and annual year-end appeal letters. Planned all annual patron’s events, including private dinners for donor cultivation and a large fundraising auction. Managed a comprehensive grants program with average annual awards of over $80,000. Also planned and managed an annual speaker series for the Jackson Hole community.
