Kellogg Foundation Jun 1995 - Jun 1997Through the Foundation’s Partners of the Americas, I developed and implemented a collaborative program with Secretariat of the Environment of Goias and the Department of Environmental Quality of the State of Wyoming to institute a long-range water quality education program for the Brazilian State of Goias. This project included delivery of a five-day workshop in environmental education for the public sector and a five-day watershed monitoring education course for 60 state government technicians. Wyoming DEQ donated a modern water quality testing kit to the NGO community of Goias upon completion of this course. .The final phase of the project was the creation of a state-sponsored television publicity campaign to raise public awareness of the need for cleaner rivers in Goias. -
